@beecycling Also recycle in 32 different locations and, as I read today in another non-article in the Guardian on cost-effective food shopping, "visit your local market every day". Righty ho then 🤔

@callunavulgaris@mastodon.scot Oh God, I seem to recall a lot of that at the height of the pandemic - buy your veg from market stalls! Bloody where? That would be at least half an hour away for me, and not much cheaper. Meanwhile I've got three supermarkets five minutes walk away.

@callunavulgaris@mastodon.scot @beecycling@wandering.shop My local market is only Friday and Saturday. Sligtly less local (and much smaller) markets in two different locations Tuesday and Wednesday. Also at least two shops much nearer where I can get organic vegetables six days a week.
