Australia uses the equivalent of 7.5 barrels of oil per person per year.
The largest amount per capita in the world. Let that sink in.
How come our "climate experts" have said NOTHING about this?

@gusseting It's been raised repeatedly over the years. eg https://www.climatechangeauthority.gov.au/reviews/light-vehicle-emissions-standards-australia/opportunities-reduce-light-vehicle-emissions What happens is that farming and mining lobbyists kick up a stink, some conservative politicians whip up some fear in the masses, and it all dies away again...
