@alldritt recently released this super cool open source command line tool for querying scriptable applications on the Mac. It’s been out for a couple of months but I just finally had a chance to take a good look at it, and it is really neat. I’ll reach for this first instead of AppleScript the next time I need to automate accessing data from a scriptable app. https://github.com/alldritt/aequery
