I'm not against AI per se. For generating graphics and code I've seen some pretty impressive and useful things. I'm allergic to "you'll be left behind" zealots though. I don't think the productivity bottleneck in the average organisation is in writing code, but in human alignment, code reviews and delivery pipelines. There is also a dire need for regulation to ensure LLM's aren't based on theft and don't compete with living beings with regard to energy and water consumption. #dev #ai #llm
