I remember debating on Twitter if it was a good idea to switch from the Star as the sign of appreciating a Tweet to a Heart. I’d argued it’d make me think twice about faving a Tweet because a heart sends a different message than a star. Women on Twitter were already dealing with a bunch of BS so it felt like it’d amp that up. Anyway, pretty sure that wasn’t the core problem with social media. Got that one wrong.
