I gotta say, the strawberry shortcake I made using fresh local berries was absolutely delicious. Made everything from scratch.
Was pleased with the new shortcake recipe. Simple but very flaky and tender but just crispy to absorb the sweetness of the berries.
Been 26 years since I cooked professionally but I can still throw down. I also grilled up some ribeyes and a nice garden picked tomato and cucumber salad.
