Trick or treating was fun! For the first hour anyway. There were so many houses with their porch lights on, decorated for Halloween, and no answer at the door. Bummed my kid out for a little while :/ But we definitely got some trick or treaters and they were very cute in their costumes. And there’s some leftover candy for snacking, so all in all a success!

Fun! Took the youngest trick or treating, the others went with their friends. Notably, when combined, the kids brought homr 87lbs of candy.

It was alright. Not a lot of kids came through and some of the kids were really rude. One of them called my husband the f-slur as he was giving him candy, while his mother behind him had all of her attention on tiktok. Oh well. Overall, we had fun and we have several bags of extra candy.

Halloween isn’t really a thing where I live. There was a small party nearby, though. I wanted to go. I asked three friends. They all said yes, at first, but they cancelled the plan on the last day. 2 of them had genuine reasons, one didn’t. I spent that night in my bedroom, scrolling lemmy. Sad.

It was nice, thank you. Did an escape room with friends, a lovely dinner and some wine. I was dressed as a hunter and my girlfriend as a deer. How was your halloween?

Well, my "best friend" since I was 15 (39 now) tried to sleep with my partner (we're gay man, she is not) and I am absolutely beside myself. I am so upset my partner was put in that position. Im so mad at myself and her. And I feel like I never had a friend, just someone pining after me, she has been very vocal about crushing on me in our youth. Halloween is our favorite. And she tainted it. I am more angry than I can recall ever being. And just so deeply sad. The heaviness I feel is crushing. I know we can persevere but mother fucking holy shit I am so just sad I guess. I keep trying to give it a more specific word......but its just sad. I hope those who had fun had the most fun because thats what it is supposed to be. Happy Halloween everyone!

Wife and I stayed in, grabbed take out and wine, caught up on bake off. No complaints, lovely night.

It’s our first Halloween living in a nice-ish area and it was a bit of culture shock getting so many trick or treaters. I bought so much chocolate and we ran out within an hour of the first kids at the door. Most of them were polite and it was nice to pay it forward this year, it was always my favourite holiday as a child.

Super fun! Scrambled together a pretty solid Guy Feiri costume in the morning, volunteered at mutual aid org I like a lot, then went out dancing with some friends from that org.

Pretty good considering the weather. We got rained on, but the kids still had fun. There was noticeably less people out vs years past, due to the weather: however still more than I had expected.

Tons of kids, similar to every year prior. Everyone was polite, especially the older kids. We had to reduce to one piece of candy per kid towards the end as we were running out. Then we had to reverse to “take a handful” just before lights out.

I worked most of the day but had a nice dinner with my mom and aunt then watched a fireworks show so not bad

I went to an amazing event then got into a bike accident on the way home and ended up in hospital to get stitches, I have one tooth mostly broken off and two others chipped, and my bike is gone. Spooky! (Sharing this in case it makes anyone feel better about their own night to know that it could have been worse!)

Both kids made it through the neighborhood without have to be carried the whole time, we came home and had a ton of kiddos stop by, it was so fun to see all of their costumes! The older kids came out later and were just downright pleasant, very refreshing night overall.

Had a chronic pain flare up so I stayed in bed all day. Royally sucked.
