we all have certain dishes we love that we look forward at the holidays. but why only for the holidays or a specific holiday? in my "let's make fall dishes and hope we get fall weather" binge, i decided i really wanted a dressing i usually make for thanksgiving. cornbread, fennel, chestnuts, sausage, onion, celery, sage/thyme, stock. letting the cornbread cool now, then will toast it and assemble.
