@hpg@mastodon.de @wonderofscience@mastodon.social Yes, in theory. Kinetic energy is transferred from whatever moves, to whatever causes friction, like air and ground. These micro movements will affect the surroundings. But a more solid ground will severely dampen or delay the effect.
