Suddenly became aware that 2006 was 20 years ago, and remembered that my book came out in 2006. Just felt like a good time to reference these drawings I did for @grmpyprogrammer (Grumpy Cat, duh), and @mintopia (tea mug Elephpant). Chris tells me he burned his copy, or used it for toilet paper or something. Either way, really happy with both of them. I'm not particularly artistic. Autistic, but not aRtistic.

The whole Lake Ontario thing definitely got me curious to try MapQuest. It’s adorable! They are really leaning into the retro nostalgia of using MapQuest with 8 bit characters and stuff. Seems perfectly cromulent as a map app too.

I sometimes wonder whether any future Star Wars property could actually live up to the original. I think part of the fun of the original, and then the sequels building on them, was the gradual world building and discovering new things about the star wars universe. Everything now just feels like we're just playing in a sandbox we know everything about.

@caseyliss Apologies if this is the billionth time someone has told you this, but if you set your tailnet devices to override global dns and point to the Tailscale ip of your pihole server, you can get pihole to work outside your home network, including cellular.
