Every time that I sit down with my ballot and painstakingly research all the obscure local candidates until I figure out what they *really* stand for, I wonder if anyone else actually does this. Sometimes, all you get is subtle hints. Sometimes, it is a dogwhistle. But often, there is *something* to tip you which way these "non-partisans" actually side.

Doctor visit, flu shot, and dropped off my ballot at the local ballot box this morning. Feels pretty productive before 10 AM.

JFYI for my Oregon people. Keep checking the status of your ballot. I've been checking since I voted at the ballot drop box last week. It took until this week for the status to change to received with the Oregon Secretary of State. However, it is dated the day after I dropped it off, so I think this may have just been a reporting delay, not a receiving delay. #Oregon #Vote #OregonVote #OregonElection
