We’re living in the moment where I can just do some sports at the gym and meanwhile talk to my AI and it creates my github stuff

my thunderbird email client TUI agent "Thunderbrain". Sorts, reads, filters, lists my emails. Turn mails into embeddings, uses AI APIs to use intelligence.

Found this 90s hippie bracelet my dad bought from a hippie in Kelebek Vadisi back in the 90s,. Handmade macrame hemp, carved bone square pendant with four circles. Still looking strong decades later 🧶🌿 Anyone know anything about these things?? #HippieJewelry #90sBoho #Souvenir

Regarding ASI: It depends who's at the wheel. We haven't taken off yet, but the real risks aren't efficiency metrics, they're AGI and ASI. The outcome could be catastrophic: wars, economic collapse, existential crisis. Yet I believe we should push harder anyway. Perhaps this is the universe's predefined goal for our civilization.

The feeling you get when you accomplish something with AI agents—by commanding them for hours or weeks, giving feedback, bringing them together, triggering ideas, brainstorming, and asking questions—makes it seem like we are doing many things. Yet, despite the time and effort, we are not actually doing the work ourselves; we are merely causing it to happen. It becomes a chain reaction: we prompt an AI to perform a task we want, and the AI divides it among sub‑agents because we asked it to.
-
In the AI era, humans are no longer the ones doing the work directly, but catalysts orchestrating interconnected agent systems through obsessive curiosity to produce outcomes.

if we had the perfect agentic harness, we could replicate the effects of ASI. even when we do not have ASI. In order to create the perfect agentic harness, we need AGIs plus best of the human engineers.

Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Kilo Code, Kimi CLI, Grok Build, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent. All useful. Still not enough for the kind of harness I want. I need something that remembers what I worked on in a folder last week without replaying the whole session. Something I can trust when agents are touching real code.

twitter is dead I just realized, seeing I have my own "updates" feed here on my website, plus mastodon and bluesky, elon's corrupt twitter can go to hell. they havent answered by query, thus my account is.. gone? cant delete, cant backup. for absolutely no reason at all. just their bot acting stupid. they can go to hell. no more ad revenue from me. If DeepSeek increases the prices If DeepSeek increases the prices like significantly because they just claimed that I mean that would be devastating. I don't know what they mean by significant increase, but they just emailed people and also show a notice message in their API page and stuff. And if that happens, like if they for example increase their prices by like, let's say, 10 times, that will be a really big problem because then I would… Read more: https://yunusemrevurgun.c...

social media is probably a big trap I was just thinking, like, generally, social media platforms, the ones that we use every day, they're mostly just traps. They're like a Ponzi scheme up with words. So, for example, they are tricking your brain and they try to get you to play the game and promise you different ranks. For example, if you become an influencer, you will get better exposure to fame and money and power, but it is all fake… Read more: https://yunusemrevurgun.com/upd...

The Tornado Ahead AI won’t make intelligent people obsolete—it will expose how many “experts” were hiding behind credentials and memorized knowledge. What will remain valuable is genuine scientific thinking, sound engineering principles, and the ability to reason from first principles. Read more: https://yunusemrevurgun.com/updates/470

AI seen as parrot? If your professional conclusion about AI is based primarily on bad prompting, chatbot-style usage, or poorly designed agent workflows, you may be dramatically underestimating both the technology and the people learning to use it properly. And ultimately, productivity is measurable under proper methods. Opinions can disagree. The numbers eventually cannot. Most research measuring productivity are flawed, since they… Read more: https://yunusemrevurgun.com/updates/471

Pocket Harness. Pure C++ Linux Agent Harness Working with AI harnesses and doing a lot of experiments have taught me a lot. So I created Pocket Harness, which is super minimal C++ Linux native open source Agentic Coding Harness that works pretty much with most of the LLM providers. It is safe, fast, and has no dependencies. It is a TUI coding harness. It has TUI as a user interface, which is also built from scratch. check it out:… Read more: https://yunusemrevurgun.com/updates/472

Dots. Turns out OpenClaw wasn’t a bad idea after all. Dots by GPT makes it more polished and fun. Let’s see how it works out as models get even more capable. Read more: https://yunusemrevurgun.com/updates/473

@DrSandraDuffy @Fulltimesickgal The icon for the app is so cute it made me barf up an entire kitten, I haven't even been around a cat in years, where did that kitten come from?

@jasontucker Yeah, I'd either wanna center it or try to balance the proportions a bit better, like a little more width over on the water bottle side of the middle leg feels like it would help the aesthetic balance.

@glaist@mstdn.im This is the sort of thing which I really feel like should have been more widely pointed out to people well before they got here because that is such a fantastic benefit of being over here instead of there.

@Tiernan@queer.party >.> <.< As a sawyer this seems like it should bother me, but you know what... a bread saw is a cool idea, the little saw at the bottom right in this image would work pretty well even.
