Gonna have fun setting this up today after work. With the weirdness going on with computers, and a favor, I was able to sell my M4 Max Mac Studio a month ago for less than it cost me to upgrade to an identically configured M5 Max.

Tak tady probírám tu lístkotéku, co přišla do schránky za #Plzeň. #Senát chtěj samí dědci a #KarelŘehka .. ten ale nemá žádnej program. Nikde. Fakt si #STAN myslí, že kampaň udělá pár letáčkama, kde ho budou blahořečit bez konkrétních cílů? #Komunál do městskýho obvodu vezmu napříč těma dvěma kandidátkama ty mladší adepty. Snad se tou kandidátkou podaří trochu zamíchat a oživit to tu. #Komunál do města má velikost obrovskýho plakátu a tam jsem úplně v prdeli :D #volby #SenátníVolby #Komunáln...

Hi all! ELI5/Noob question about VLANs: i read often that isolation IoT devices (like cameras and thermometers) in a seperate dedicated VLAN. How would i access these IoT devices and their functionality from a device in the “normal” VLAN, like from my mobile phone or tablet, when they are “isolated”? #Homenetwork

Hey Masto, After more than two years since I started this work, our article with Camille Gobert, Michel Beaudouin-Lafon and Wendy Mackay about digital collaboration in independent #publishing is finally published. 📖 “Books are social spaces”: Challenges in Collaborating Across File Formats in Independent Publishing 👀 https://dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/3816904 I will present it next week at #CSCW2026 during the Online Experience (the rest of the conf will be in Salt Lake City, USA)! @cscw #hci #...

Growing up I was repeatedly warned about peer pressure to try drugs. Which for me happens to fall into the same level as sinking in quick sand or disappearing into the Bermuda Triangle or having a piano dropped on my head. You know, things that I was led to believe would be a far bigger problem than they actually are. But this AI stuff is relentless. "C'mon just try it one time" "You don't know what you're missing" "Just...

"Once I thought, perhaps I shall be free. I did everything correct, or thought thereof as I reentered the shell. The ghastly visage of... Vim... no longer able to be seen. To be present. Or appear so. But still, the fear. It lingers. And the ever present question remains. 'What if, I am still inside?'" #microFiction

I don't like the engagement farming style (post 4 whatever that...). But I saw one about albums (on Bluesky) and felt it was a good way to tell the world a bit about myself. So I came here to do that and post four albums that changed me. Two of them are super famous. One is a bit niche (UDS has a big place in my heart). But the Goats one in particular is one I'd encourage you to check out if you're unfamiliar. Tricks of the Shade is truly a masterpiece IMHO with lyric...

Out of curiosity, would anyone be interested in seeing me stumble through Tunic again? Been a while since I've played it. 👀
