First hike after weekends of rain: Mnt. Sekiro. Including HAM equipment, but I did not receive a single other station on the various bands I tried, and also I was not heard - checked afterwards on the internet. I'll have to consider a better antenna. After the 1.6m telescope one, next best would be a wire antenna, but then one also needs trees for support, and equipment to get the antenna into the tree in the first place.
