Het wordt tijd dat ik naar onze eigen NRC-server verhuis. Die bestaat technisch inmiddels (primeur voor de liefhebbers!), maar hij is nog vrij leeg en daar wil ik geleidelijk verandering in brengen (uurtje hier uurtje daar...). Ik heb zojuist een back-up gemaakt van mijn bladwijzers en volgers. Klopt het dat ik mijn berichten op mastodon.nl niet kan back-uppen? Dit is een vraag aan @koen @wsslmn en de vele anderen die daar ervaring mee hebben? #mastodon #migratie #NRCServer

So we’re doing #introductions now. Former academic scientist: Manchester, Oxford, Stanford, lecturer/ researcher at Reading, UK (chemical physics). Quit to join Shell (no, I never met Liz Truss). Worked for Shell for 11 years before leaving to set up my own management consultancy/training practice. My fridge suddenly made a cracking sound when I closed a door. A clip from the door snapped off. I took a pic and asked Gemini if it recognized the part. I knew it was a long shot. Lo and behold in less than 1 minutes I had the part name, part number and a link to amazon. It arrives tomorrow. 😱
