Ontario PR supporters: here is a concrete action. If you support proportional representation and are eligible to join the Ontario Liberal Party, join through the official OLP page: https://action.ontarioliberal.ca/f/join Then contact EVERY leadership candidate. Farmers will continue to mostly stick by Trump because A) "farmers" in the American context means farm owners, not people who farm and B) what farmers wanted from Trump was to get rid of the anti-slavery reforms that Biden did to the H-2A visa system, and Trump did that. Biden oversaw the largest anti-slavery enforcement operations in something like a century and introduced a broad swathe of anti-slavery reforms to the H-2A system, a system that exists basically only to create slaves...

I think it would be nice to have an OS that is centered around the idea of "everything that could possibly be a cache is a cache". Which I guess is sort of a functional programming idea? The pixels of your GUI: Cached result of running the immediate-GUI-rendering application code on the application state. The pixels of an image in the GUI: Cached result of PNG-decoding a PNG image, which is cached from an image on disk or elsewhere. Text written into a text input field: Writeback-cach...
