@arch I haven't set them up but I believe Gitea has runners. I just have it running essentially as a code dump/backup for projects.
-
Did a fresh install of Arch with Omarchy on the T480. While I’m not a fan of some of the defaults (prompt, some keybinds, etc) it’s nice to have most of the other “plumbing” setup automatically and it’s not any more configuration than I normally do.

It’s 2025 and I’ve been doing Rails development for over a decade. And I still occasionally add an s to model names when writing a query… #rails #ruby

@ivory just checking in case I’m missing something; is there a way to swipe back to the feed from a post other than swiping right from the left screen edge? My right hand thumb doesn’t like my stretching for the posts button (which I guess I could move)
-
@ivory for what it’s worth, moving the home button works for probably 75% of cases. Only multiple posts deep or in hashtags do I have to stretch or two hand it. Thanks!

@me1000 yeah every time I feel a twinge in my thumb or wrist I have the thought “am I just getting old or is the RSI/ carpal tunel finally catching up to me?” I have a 14 pro (first “bigger” phone) and my wife got a regular 15 and my first thought was how much more pleasant it was to use.

@mclean.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy honestly, depending on the source of the rocks, they alone could cost more than everything else, labor included.

Successfully upgraded the desktop to Debian 13. Only problem is that I've really taken to Omarchy and Hyprland + Arch on my laptop and I kinda want it on my desktop too...
-
Well, trying to run Debian 13 with Wayland and an Nvidia GPU was a no go for me. A lot of things worked fine, but a lot of things needed special options or just wouldn't run. So now it's a fresh Arch install with Omarchy! And it's smooth sailing so far.

Neighborhood corner store now has a kids bookstore inside as well. For their opening they brought in a food truck and it’s become a great little neighborhood party.

What are some good #ios #mobile #games? Looking for some puzzle games that I can pick up, play for 5-10min, and put down. Fine with paying if ads/lives/microtransactions aren’t a thing.

Um, can you not tap the top of an in-app safari browser to scroll to the top anymore in #ios26? It seems to still work in regular Safari, albeit with two taps, but it doesn’t work in both @ivory or the BlueSky app

I'm absolutely in love with Town to City. A fun, chill, city builder where you are rewarded for spending time decorating but also growing and evolving your little town. https://store.steampowered.com/app/3115220/Town_to_City/

#CodeGals I just thought about a few code gals : - Fortran is a grandma wearing lab gear. She does not think about retirement and just continues to work in her lab. - COBOL is another grandma, wearing a business suit, and looks at all other languages like a child, except Fortran. She is a bit bitter because she could never leave banking though. - Julia is athletic (like a sprinter). She likes to hang out with R and Python, and also looks up to C, C++ and especially Fortran. - R is a shy girl, wi...

#3GoodThings 🏃♀️ I started running using the 5k Runner app as motivator. My average daily step count has been over 10k for 7 YEARS now (yes, you read that right), but some family members were bugging me it's not enough cardio (fair) and that "I may be out of shape" (what the heck?) So now I run. Delighted to report that at the end of each run - using 5k Runner - I gave as feedback that it was too easy. This for 3 days in a row, after multiple adjustments. So 5k Runner is making me...
