Before COVID I used to go to the cinema, the theatre and music and comedy gigs much more frequently than I do nowadays I usually follow back provided that you are tooting, but I am very unlikely to respond to a private mention

Imagine a scenario where you are heading off to buy a sandwich. The choice is quite limited though. On offer there is the tuna and mayo sandwich that you’ve always hated, but also an alternative version where they have replaced the mayo with sliced beetroot that just makes you wretch! The other alternative is a bacon sandwich, which you’ve always enjoyed, however: you prefer smoked streaky bacon that isn’t too crispy, but this is unsmoked back bacon where the fat has been to burnt to a crisp. For some reason they’ve also added sliced avocado which they refuse to leave out! What you really fancy is a pastrami, cheese and pickle bagel with mild mustard, but it’s not available where you live. The worst thing about it is whichever sandwiches proves to be the most popular will be the only sandwich available for the foreseeable future!
Anyway, I have to vote in the local elections later and it looks like I have to vote tactically!
