The air hung cold and sharp, tinged with the metallic tang of wild, untamed magic and the eerie crackle of necrotic energy that clung to Ykril like a shadow. Our sanctuary beneath the lifeless obsidian pillar was an odd haven—a silent bubble where magic and life seemed to drain away, a stillness amid the chaotic storm of the Scar Network. In this void, the chill radiating from Ykril was paradoxically the warmest comfort.
