Agi: Mario Calabresi: "Candidarmi come sindaco di Milano? Ci penso, vorrei fare mia parte"
AGI - "Candidarmi? Alla tanta gente che me lo chiede per strada, io rispondo che sì, io ci penso. Ci sto pensando e mi piacerebbe fare la mia parte per Milano, ci tengo. Detto questo, c'è un percorso che non è delineato, sul come ci si arriverà, se ci saranno o meno le primarie e tutto questo lo capiremo dopo l'estate. Io sono in rispettosa attesa di capire cosa verrà deciso, che tipo di percorso verrà deciso e se ci sarà la possibilità". Lo ha detto Mario Calabresi nel corso di un dibattito organizzato dal Pd sud est milanese nell'ambito della Festa dell'Unità, rispondendo a una domanda sulle Comunali di Milano. Il nome di Calabresi gira da tempo come uno dei papabili.

“Would I run? To so many people asking me on the street, I respond that yes, I’m thinking about it. I am thinking about it and I would like to do my part for Milan, I care about it. That said, there is a path that isn't defined, regarding how we will get there, whether or not there will be primaries, and all of this we will understand after the summer. I am in respectful waiting to see what will be decided, what kind of path will be decided, and if there will be the possibility.” Mario Calabresi said during a debate organized by the Milanese south-east Pd within the Festa dell’Unità, responding to a question about the Milan City Council elections. Calabresi’s name has been circulating for some time as one of the frontrunners.
