Good morning tooters. Around 9c when I woke up this morning & it will be the same daily temp of 16c as it’s been for the last two days. Still very grey & overcast with more rain to come this afternoon. I was very glad when that storm finished late last night & I was able to have a last check of the back yard to reassure myself all was good & no water came in under the back garage door. I don’t even think the rain was as fierce nor as fast as those other rain events I’ve had. It did mean I was able to get to go to bed & sleep unstressed. It always feels worse when it’s dark. I had a lovely few hours out in Albury yesterday with my friend, we had coffee at the Myer centre & then went for a wander, window & op shopping. I didn’t buy anything at all except except the coffee. It was just so good to be outside doing something & the rain held off until we got home. I also dropped off half a dozen books to a street library & took 2 out for myself. I love street libraries. The pictures were taken down a laneway towards the Myer complex. I have to pack to head to Chiltern this morning but don’t plan to get there until around lunchtime. It’s just for 4 nights & I will take a couple of my frozen meals & soup with me.
