I've been playing 'Shinobi: Art Of Vengance'. Looks great and has fantastic art design. It features a modern 2D combat toolbox, that allows basic techniques to be effective, but also has latitude to be super badass. Most importantly, it all feels very pulp Ninja with fast moves, weird magic abilities, and crazy enemies.
