Took in the Sand Sculpture Festival at Revere Beach today. These works of art survived the weekend rain beautifully.

These stone half-circles line the promenade abutting #RevereBeach. My only guess as to their purpose is that they once held rubbish bins, but all are now empty. Or were they designed for something else?
