A Canadian, and then an Albertan, on Treaty 6 lands. I will defend Canada from both foreign and domestic enemies. I urge fellow Gen X to also stand up now so that fewer of our youth are needed in our civilian defense force. The bear "didn't display aggression" toward the dog, but I see the bear looking around the fool at his unleashed and untrained dog that ignores commands. The fool also turned his back to the bear, inviting a charge. And the woman foolishly saying they need to get off the trail would then give the bear cover to hide behind during an approach.
Fines and education aren't working, time to hand out park pass bans for people that are too smart for the rules.
