NBA Fastbreak's right orbit diverter came off. The e-clip that holds it had gotten loose. Now, everyone said I'd have to pull the right ramp which is quite a chore on this thing. I however noticed that with the little metal ramp thing from the shooter lane removed, I could access the spot quite easily. Turned an hour's job into 10 minute job. Work smart etc. #pinball #pinrepair #repair

Look! Free parts! A player reported a loose part on NBA FastBreak's playfield. It's the right orbit diverter. Looks like its e-clip came off and the part got ejected. The part is in bit of a nasty spot under the right ramp complex. I hope I can put the clip back on with some long nose pliers. #pinball #pinrepair

I earlier posted about Stern James Bond's center shot gate wire that mysteriously died. Here's our take, my friend RIK bent this of titanium wire just for the laughs. It's insanely light, stiff and seems to fit nicely. The switch needed a slight adjustment afterwards, but it seems to work nicely. #pinball #pinrepair #repair

The crappy flipper buttons, don't get me started on those! Since the beginning of the time everyone used the kind where the moving part of the button was secured by an e-clip. Then something happened (early enshittification?) and a model where the center was just pushed in place surfaced. It had a small collar to prevent the center from just jumping out of the button frame, but that wore off from normal wear and tear, leaving surprised players with the flipper button center in their hands mid-game! The Mandalorian seen here is just from the era where the good old model had made its comeback and in this case the button wasn't a total loss, the e-clip had just come off for some reason. Oh and the black ones are relatively rare, I think the Mando is the only one of mine to have those. #pinball #repair #pinrepair
