#ThisWeekABC brought back their "In Memoriam" segment at the end of the show to recognize those killed in #OrangeJuliusCaesar's unnecessary war-of-choice in #Iran. Some of you may remember this was how they ended every show during #Dubya's Iraq War over 20 years ago. #InMemoriam

@cstross@wandering.shop In all seriousness, my father has #dementia as well, and he no longer has any sense of time.

Things that happened DECADES ago just happened "recently" in his mind (like losing the 2020 election is for T****) and he obsesses about it (also like T****.)

He makes stuff up (not actually "lying") to fill in the gaps in his memory, and can be a quite paranoid (everybody is out to do him harm.)

There is NO question in my mind #OrangeJuliusCaesar has dementia.
