After three days of murder, on #ThisDayInHistory in 1934 #NaziGermany finished its #NightOfTheLongKnives. In this purge, the #Nazi movement eliminated much of its #populist right & gutted the SA (Sturmabteilung), killing #Strasser & #Röhm, using agents mostly from #SS & #Gestapo.
