#mgs4

Some #fyi stuff: as of launch day anyways, #metalgearsolid4 will not auto-download when you put in your cart and select the game. You need to manually download it. You need to do this as well to get the latest updates for #metalgearsolidpeacewalker and the #metalgearsolidmastercollectionvol2bonusmaterial. Also, even though there is a grayed out option for the Japanese language pack in #mgs4, if you go to the download menu, it will prompt for going to the eshop to download the language pack, but then nothing happens. I can confirm my internet works and I can access the eshop on both my original Switch and my wife's OLED model. The digital version of #mgs4 also lists Japanese as a supported language. Anyone know what gives? Did Konami forget to add a link to that OK prompt or something?

On the plus side: I haven't finished chapter 1 yet and have only tried handheld mode, but #metalgearsolid4 on #nintendoswitch runs great. I haven't noticed any bugs or any stuttering either. I was very weary about how #mgs4 was going to run on the weakest hardware of all the releases, but so far I am pleasantly surprised. If this is the same team at #konami that patched up #metalgearsolidmastercollectionvol1, they must have really cut their teeth on volume 1 enough to get it right out of the gate for volume 2.
