Dziś odpowiem na trudne pytanie, które czasem słyszę: "czy panu się to opłaca?" Otóż, opłaca mi się. Dziękuję za uwagę. A tak poważnie, to pozwolę sobie zastosować prostą arytmetykę. Jeżdżę zwykle 5 dni w tygodniu. To daje jakieś 260 dni w roku. W rzeczywistości będzie tego więcej, bo czasem wpadnie jakiś wyjazd do lekarza, weta, urzędu. Karta kosztuje 12100 zł na rok. Przy powyższym uproszczeniu, to daje jakieś 46,50 zł na jeden wyjazd. Moi drodzy, za 46,50 zł to ja nawet do Ponieca nie pojadę (licząc powrót). Owszem, zdarzają mi się krótsze (tańsze) wyjazdy, ale z reguły jeżdżę "drożej". A że mieszkam na wiosce, to z reguły wchodzi przynajmniej dwóch przewoźników. #PKP #InterCity #kolej #mikol

Niedawno @jeder@miau.jeder.pl podsunął mi przeszukiwarkę służbowych rozkładów #PKP #InterCity i moje życie się zmieniło: https://ptrc.gay/pkpic/ Uwzględnia wszystkie posterunki, więc można dokładnie sprawdzić, którędy pociąg pojedzie. Można dowiedzieć się, którym pociągiem zaliczyć jakąś trudną linię. Mamy też czasy przejazdu, więc można lepiej szacować opóźnienie. #mikol

Nowy rodzaj opóźnienia: podróżny przyszedł po przesyłkę konduktorską, i trzeba było znaleźć kierownika pociągu, a następnie kierownik musiał zlokalizować przesyłkę. #PKP #InterCity

Pamiętajcie, by opuścić klapę przed spłukaniem. Pamiętajcie również, by zaczekać, aż to wolnoopadające gówno opadnie do końca. Alternatywnie: warto mieć przy sobie zapasowe spodnie. #PKP #InterCity

Różnica między wózkiem z WARS-a, a tym czeskim, co sprzedaje kawę w Baltic Express (z obserwacji, ja nie burżujam w kupowanie kawy). Wars: "weźmie pan tyle śmietanki, ile potrzeba". Czeski: każda śmietanka płatna dodatkowo. #PKP #InterCity

On the rails again... #Intercity Today @wendy@mendeddrum.org, a friend and I are heading up to Gdańsk Główny on an Express Intercity Premium train, PKP Intercity's flagship High Speed Service. Today's Itinerary: https://moof.space/trip/2026-07-17 This service is run on Alstom Pendolino Novo ED250 units, although the trains themselves are not tilting. Well, it doesn't tilt, but the suspension is quite generous, so it sort of feels like it might. It travels at up to 200km/h, which is the maximum line speed on this track… not as high speed as trains to the West, but under the TEN-T criteria, it’s considered high speed as it's upgraded track. This Pendnolino is quite comfortable, with plenty of space for luggage, inluding Alstom's generous overhead racks. It's at the level of comfort that I'd expect from trains further in the west. And the free snacks and drinks is definitely something I'm not seeing in my more regular services.

Agi: Treno Frecciarossa bloccato a Montesilvano, 125 passeggeri bloccati a bordo AGI - I vigili del fuoco sono impegnati dalle 20 in un intervento sulla linea ferroviaria adriatica a Montesilvano, per un treno Frecciarossa bloccato con 125 passeggeri a bordo. Al lavoro i tecnici RFI per il ripristino della linea. I passeggeri, chiusi all'interno del treno, stanno tutti bene. Secondo le prime informazioni, un treno precedente avrebbe tranciato i cavi elettrici. La nota di Trenitalia La circolazione ferroviaria è sospesa tra Giulianova e Pescara per un inconveniente tecnico alla linea elettrica. Lo rende noto Trenitalia. I treni Alta Velocità, Intercity e Regionali possono registrare ritardi. Sono sospesi i treni Venezia Santa Lucia - Lecce, Milano Centrale - Bari Centrale, Bolzano - Bari Centrale. The time has come for the train highlight of this trip: My personal #Intercity 1 farewell tour! It is my second attempt to board the #DB IC 2214 "Deichgraf" at Bremen. In November 2024, #DanskDiesel had to be reorganised due to the cancellation of the IC 2214. This time, I am successful in boarding, but the train is delayed by about 30 minutes. It's a very quiet ride on this Sunday morning. #AmRumReisen

At Itzehoe, the #DB #Intercity 2214 Deichgraf changes traction. This is one of the last times that two DB 218 Class engines will pull an IC 1 train from Itzehoe to Westerland. Some trainspotters are waiting for the delayed train along its route over the Nord-Ostsee Canal towards Sylt. ICE L trains have already started operating on this line. The last IC 1 trains will run on 30 April/1 May from/to Westerland if I am not mistaken. 😥 #AmRumReisen

A pamiętacie, jak #PKP #PLK zrobiło dłuuuugi peron na przystanku #Jastrowie Miasto, żeby się pociągi PKP #InterCity mogły zatrzymywać? No więc w dalszym ciągu się nie zatrzymują.

Poziom wsparcia #PKP #InterCity jest porażający. Czytaj: dno i metr mułu. Już kiedyś pisałem, że zdarza się, że rezerwacja miejsca się nie powiedzie, i później system twierdzi, że mam już rezerwację "w tym czasie", i mam ją najpierw zwrócić. Oczywiście, w "biletach" żadnej rezerwacji nie ma. Wcześniej zdarzało się, że po krótkim czasie system zwalniał rezerwację, i mogłem zacząć raz jeszcze. Teraz już drugi raz blokada utrzymywała się ponad dobę, a zależy mi, bo w tym pociągu zawsze brakuje wolnych miejsc. No więc piszę do wsparcia, opisuję sytuację, załączam zrzut ekranu. Odpisują, że mam użyć strony internetowej, a nie aplikacji. No dobra, załączam zrzut ekranu, że na stronie też nie działa. To mi odpisują, że mam PDF-a z biletem na podróż. Powstrzymałem się od zapytania, czy chodzi o ten "bilet", którego nie mogę wziąć, czy ten, który rzekomo mam i blokuje mi wzięcie nowego. Poszedłem utrudnić życie pani w kasie biletowej.
