#WARNING Do not apply for a job on #Indeed! There are a lot of scam jobs on Indeed at the moment. The company may seem real, but they’re not. A key indicator is the benefits list, including things such as:

  • Child care
  • Company car
  • Housing allowance
  • Profit sharing These are all a scam using legit NZ businesses! Always look on the listing’s company website itself, to see if it’s a legit opening.

Times of India | 72% say entry-level jobs demand experience, 61% never hear back: Is India’s job market closing its doors to freshers? AI generated summary, Read the full article for complete information. A recent Indeed survey of Indian job‑seekers reveals that 72 % of respondents say entry‑level positions now demand prior experience, while 61 % rarely receive any response after applying, highlighting a stark “experience paradox” where fresh graduates are expected to be job‑ready without having had the chance to gain that experience. Only about one‑fifth of students accessed paid internships, and many lack any exposure to projects or freelance work, putting graduates from less‑connected institutions at a distinct disadvantage. The sheer volume of applications—often hundreds or thousands per vacancy—makes shortlisting the biggest hurdle, and most candidates feel their confidence eroded, with 64 % reporting reduced motivation after repeated rejections. Moreover, just 14 % expect their first job to match their preferred role, company, or location, as financial pressures force many to accept any offer. The findings raise concerns that the rapid expansion of higher‑education output is outpacing the creation of quality entry‑level opportunities, prompting calls for stronger internship ecosystems, better campus‑industry partnerships, and hiring practices that value potential and skills over prior job titles. @adapalmer@wandering.shop this rmis #GoodNews #indeed, because it reduced the need for #Aluminium and additives like #Tungsten. Now if the #USA makes #PersonalLightVehicles instead of #SuperUselessVehicles the norm, that would really reduce the demand.
