Rideshare driver the other day starts ranting to me about "immigrants". Me: You know, I'm an immigrant to Australia myself, just I'm white, my guy, so you assumed I was Australian. Him, backpeddalling: oh yeah well, I mean, but British people work hard and..... Me: let's not do that whole "immigrants are the problem" thing at all, alright? Not cool. Especially not given you mean any immigrant who isn't white, and when you have a captive audience in your car. Just get me home. Him, starting to sweat: ............
