I've always found it fascinating how different the music that is considered neofolk in Italy is compared to other countries, especially in contrast to, say, German neofolk (which I'm usually not a huge fan of most of the time). So much more drama! Of course, I'd consider IANVA to be more cabaret music than neofolk. With some very Morricone-like brass parts!
