Each year I go to The Long Road festival, which is Country, Americana and Roots music. They seem to have regular issues with headline artists pulling out just before the gig. This year Bailey Zimmerman has cancelled, and they have just announced the replacement, Ronnie Wood and his band, featuring Imelda May. I'm sure some of the attendees that think country music only comes from Nashville will be unhappy, but for a true music fan I think this is actually a good choice and a bit of a bonus. #gigs #festival #music

A sweltering afternoon gig at Dublin Castle, John Otway and Attila The Stockbroker performing Cheryl - A Rock Opera from the early 90s. It was an experience. #Gigs

A trip to Cowley Road in Oxford last night to see Inspiral Carpets who were supported by the rather good The Rolling People (see picture of a couple of them, they didn’t look old enough to drink). Inspirals were also very good, they even did quite a few numbers from their upcoming album. #Gigs

Our section of hallway in the studio complex is adorned with gig photos I've taken over the years. Rare for one to be removed - in fact I think it's the first time - but Róisín Murphy doesn't belong there any more. She has been replaced by Wally Van Middendorp of Factory Records band "Minny Pops", shot at a gig in London, 35mm on Ilford Delta 3200. #photography #gigPhotography #gigs
