Electronic Arts has laid off an undisclosed number of employees across the game studios behind the Battlefield franchise, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect and Motive Studios. Battlefield 6 was the bestselling game of 2025 in the U.S. EA told @ign@flipboard.com: "We’ve made select changes within our Battlefield organization to better align our teams around what matters most to our community."
