There has been so many medical dramas at home -- well, it's been like that for the last 2.5 years, but lately I can't even remember what we went through 5 days ago. I'm tired, but I'm not the one who's dealing with endless pain and tiredness. Now it's looking like I will have to cancel two plans on this weekend that I said I'd make. All I can do is to be here, but I'm feeling quite helpless. #FuckCancer #Caregiver

IN OTHER LIFE AFTER #FuckCancer NEWS am in massive pain on my #mastectomy side and am literally exhausted from the pain. i already had to deal with #fibromyalgia but when the #lymphedema decides to hit hard, it takes me out. so if you are also suffering from chronic pain, loudly or in silence, i see you. my doctors have been amazing but i wish the whole USA health care culture took pain seriously. there has to be a better way than leaving these side effects to chance.

Today is the fourth anniversary of the surgery I needed for colon cancer. I have a year and a few months left of surveillance before I can throw myself a party, but so far, so good. #FuckCancer but also our medical system, which wanted to diagnose me with depression 🙄 rather than listen to what was going on before I got to Stage IIIc. I am lucky, because people a decade younger have died of this. Stay on your doctors for better care, stay on your politicians for better #publichealth
