The fediverse is comprised of many unique pockets of communities, many inspired by big existing platforms. When it comes to the fediverse Tumblr, #WAFRN is exactly that, but more. What sounds like a biological weapon, is actually a clever acronym "We Allow Female Representing Nipples", a direct shot at Tumblr and their misogynistic moderation policies. @angry_drunk@union.place surely this is a joke :p of course they have. just as often as they suggest I use peertube instead of youtube since my #freethenipple videos always get banned ..... when I HAVE been using peertube for years and years, and the fact thaty they don't know that proves exactly why, unfortunately, peertube is still a long way away from being a viable contender to the giants (:
