I love the aesthetic of the #TravelersNotebook, but the reality is, they just don't work the way I do. I want and need the flexibility of being able to insert and remove *individual pages*, and for that, nothing beats a #Filofax. I use a Personal Size (95 x 171 mm, or 3.75 x 6.75 in) Week on One Page Diary in my Filofax, and in-between each spread of two weeks, I have inserted a clear Filofax ruler/page marker, and my custom 85 mm width in-between list pages, punched both sides.

With a #Filofax, I can arbitrarily insert pages of different paper, designs, and sizes right next to each other. There's no #NotebookAnxiety or #SketchbookAnxiety about "messing up" a page and being stuck with it, or having to cut it out. If I "mess up", even a diary page, I can reprint a new one (when I'm printing my own diaries), or simply replace a page in 2 seconds on the fly, and no one has to know. You simply can't do that with a #TravelersNotebook, unless you rebind the booklets.

With a #Filofax, not only can I arbitrarily insert pages of different paper stock (watercolor, writing, drawing, scrap, card stock, etc), different designs, and different sizes right next to each other, I can rearrange them at will. I can take them out and give them away without tearing/cutting out a page, or leaving a stub. I can put them in a different notebook, entirely, if I need to slim down temporarily, then put them back in later. You can't do that with a #TravelersNotebook

My latest #Filofax trick: The fact that Pocket pages fit between the outermost rings of a Personal allows me to make index cards and pages that will fit a #passport wallet. I can have ID, a few credit and calling cards, a few loose pages or index cards, pen, phone, passport, and a little cash—and put it all in my main Filofax when I get home. You can't do that with a #TravelersNotebook. #Filofax isn't just a #notebook, #journal, #planner, or #sketchbook, it's a #stationery system.
