Senior dev who helps professionals untangle problems. I build and operate Morse code radios (KB8QPT), bounce signals off satellites, and love building software, hardware, and solutions. I also host a radio show about Ohio music history: sixdegreesofohio.com And yes, my favorite color is houndstooth (I'm colorblind).

AWESOME!
I think i first got licensed in 1992 in Ohio.. and i have only had #QRP until about 2 years ago, i got my first radio off the shelf. Yeasu FT-710. It's the first time i have ever had more than 12 watts ( i built an #elecraft k1 and k2)..
But I still love my QRP radios.
If i am totally being honest, I just ordered the QMX+ for me, too.
I still have never talked on the Yeasu or turned the power past 30 watts.
