Ever find an old work of art that looks like you? This is La Petite Couturière (The Little Dressmaker) painted by Jules Breton in 1868. She has my taste in long full skirts and headwear, my overflowing mending basket, my hair, and most weirdly, my face (or at least, my face circa 2010). What she clearly doesn't have is my taste in colour. Yellow and orange? Great. Lavender, blue, and black together? Lovely (though admittedly not on me). All five at once? Yikes. #art #doppelganger

How interesting.. a friend has twin daughters who are in their early 30s. One had a load of hassle getting through passport control in Poland because the EU digital ID system clearly doesn't know how to handle identical twins! Immigration was convinced she was not herself but her sister (who had been on holiday recently and already been through the new ID system.) Presumably whichever one goes through the system first becomes the 'default' twin. #Twin #Doppelganger #Digital #ID
