While oil corps are enjoying multiple years of record profits, the governments of Canada and Alberta are redirecting tax dollars from services to subsidies for the richest corps and cancelling regulations the oilmen don't like.
Our governments are weak, captured, and corrupt.
Now is the time to tax wealth and especially oil wealth. If the oilmen don't like paying their fair share then they can GTFO to the USA, Ruzzia or Iran for better operating conditions via fake regulations and lower taxes.
Fuck Canadian corporatism and the anti-democratic politicians that enable it.
