Hey, it's been 10 days since the last shout out for volunteers, so you know what that means, right? 😃 It means we had five whole sessions with enough people stepping up to clean, to cook, to deliver, to host, to clean again, and to coordinate. But all good things come to an end, and it's looking a bit thin on the rotas for today, so if you're in #CambridgeUK and wasn't to indulge your passion for #mutualaid for a couple of hours in between 12:30 and 20:30, now would be an excellent time to do so! We look forward to hearing from you.

Ooooh dear, it appears we're suffering from The July Effect (again) – the undergraduates have gone home, and half of the city's residents are off on holiday somewhere. We wish them well on their respective travels of course BUT we're _really_ struggling for volunteers! Today's shift is short of... wait for it... no less than 6 cleaners and 7 delivery riders.😬 😭 If you live in Cambridge... if you have a friend in Cambridge... would you consider dedicating a couple of hours to feeding your community today? Hey, folkx of #CambridgeUK, it's not for every shift that we need to cast the net out to find deliver volunteers, but today is once again such a day. So if you're feeling lacklustre about that evening in the pub for the footie, here's your perfect excuse! Hop on your bike or into you car, and come and deliver 20 portions of fresh hot food to some part of the city. We now have 16 deliver routes to be covered, every Thursday and every Sunday.
