I remember the #bicentennial and it was so exciting the best thing ever, my village had a parade and ice cream as well as fireworks like every fourth, but bigger ones. We were sad when it was over, but then we figured out we'd probably all live to see the 250th. Can't say it's been the same, but I'm not 11 so hard to tell.
