#antumbra

So... Now comes the time when I realize that my pages, even though people like 'em from what I understand, are really turds to my eyes, I have to dive into skills training and some study. The results are probably considered boring and for this reason aren't shared, I'll try to make this a thread/journal of how one's drawing skills improve. It'll most probably include boxes, and thoughts, and figures, (and bold attempts at copying legends of manga making) but when the time feels right, I'll try to make a new page of #Antumbra and see how these things have helped. Feel free to follow me on this journey of self-artistic-exploration! #comicsinthemaking #mangainthemaking #artjourney

Two birds with one stone: in trying to get consistency with Rid's face and characteristics I end up actually doing very nice and sorta thorough studies on faces/portraits! 70 more heads of Rid remain :D Soon I'll know his face better than mine xD @altbot@fuzzies.wtf#antumbra #oc #traditionalart #mastoart #pencil #study #sketchbook #artjourney

And slowly but surely a page dedicated to a Rid drawings depicting his character is coming along! And I guess I should say as a reminder that Rid is the main character of #Antumbra Hope you like it! #mastoart #manga #mangaart #oc #originalcharacter #traditionalart #wip #sketch #drawing@altbot@fuzzies.wtf

And tonight having finished with the commission for my flatmate I went back to my own projects and specifically #Antumbra MC, Rid. I hope I depict his character and composure clearly. Looking forward to see how the end page will look like! Stay tuned! #mastoart #manga #mangaart #oc #originalcharacter #traditionalart #wip #sketch #drawing

Cleaned up some stuff (more so when inking), finished the pose in general. I really do lie the guy. @altbot@fuzzies.wtf #mastoart #manga #mangaart #oc #originalcharacter #traditionalart #wip #sketch #drawing #antumbra
