Berkeley Animal Rights Center has run a public organizing space in Berkeley since 2016, office, campaign shop, and weekly meetups in one storefront. In November 2024, Berkeley became the first US city to ban factory farms. Voters passed it at 62%. Marsz Wyzwolenia Zwierząt: Pod wpisami na temat eksploatacji zwierząt, weganizmu, krzywdy konkretnych zwierząt np. gołębi, a nawet pod postulatami – typowo dobrostanowymi – ograniczenia choćby w minimalny sposób codziennej krzywdy zwierząt pojawiają się komentarze typu „a kiedy walka o prawa much i komarów”, „czekam aż będą walczyć o prawa szczurów i myszy albo karaluchów”, „co much też nie można zabijać”. Zrównywanie życia krowy, kury, świni czy dzika z życiem pchły, muchy, kleszcza ma na celu rozmycie i zrelatywizowanie systemowej przemocy codziennie doświadczanej przez miliony zwierząt. Animals are NOT ours to USE/EXPLOIT, even if there's no pain or suffering involved (such as secondhand 'leather', dumpster diving, loose feathers, etc)!
