Introducing the 2026 Alberta referendum special ballot book. Just got this in the post and wanted you to see why I think the queues on voting day are going to be monstrous. These are books. And the questions are wordy. It's gonna take more than the usual 1 min to vote. Word of caution: voting with a special ballot will take some extra steps beyond just filling in your answers. You'll have to photocopy your photo ID and include that in there so be prepared to spend a bit of time. Still. I predict it'll be less time and less annoying than waiting in a queue, hoping your boss doesn't fire you for taking a three hour long lunch break. 🙃 #ABReferendum #AlbertaReferendum #Alberta #ABPoli

In case you want to vote in Alberta's upcoming referendum, and if you are an Alberta resident, you really, really should, here is where to register for a mail in ballot. It doesn't take long to apply, but don't delay as there is a limited time to return it. Voting lines are predicted to be long, and the questions written to be confusing, so it's likely the best way.
