Went to the season's first country fair. There were many animals, which we love, but no poultry because of the avian flu (the danger of spreading it). Mentions of milking and beef with the cattle but nothing about the hides. As unpleasant as it may be I think people should know where their leather comes from.
Also nothing about bees. And how could all the 4H booths be devoid of felting and leathercraft? #country #fair #4H #AnimalHusbandry
