MariCarmen is the most common female name for several generations of Spanish women. Our mothers and grandmothers are called MariCarmen. That is why the eviction this week of an elderly lady with that name, coupled with decades of housing injustice, has been the last straw. And just as every time our rage boils over in Spain, it turns into hope. Hoy #26S vuelve a ser #15M para mí. Hace 15 años tras la manifestación de Juventud Sin Futuro, mis compañeros acamparon en Sol. Dos días después, me sumé a la acampada. Y durante muchos años pertenecí al movimiento 15M en la asamblea de mi barrio.
