Protest Thread #127: The (justified) rage of the truckers! As I've said on here before, at early protests in 2025 the truck drivers were split 50/50 on us-- probably along racial lines, given the teamster endorsements in 2024. At yesterday's bridge protest, it was unbelievably loud. Not only did we get a robust response from interstate highway traffic, but oh my GOD how the truckers are laying on their horns for us these days. #50501movement #Trump #Tariffs #GasPrices

Protest Threads #126 and #127: The Stupid, It Burns (which is related to #127) Yesterday afternoon the weather held up better than expected for our bridge protest. We put up our banners and did goofy stuff in costume to amuse our city and stick it to #ICE. We like to have fun, but our banners can be pretty serious about the atrocities, with very good reason. One young cream golden retriever was a bit nervous about my giant taco costume, which occasionally happens with dogs.
