@mahaloz@infosec.exchange how can you ever get “perfect” decompilation? It’s a lossy process. Compilers can optimise different source code down to the same object code. Different compiler options will turn the same source into different object code.

Is anybody on top of the recent #VLC CVEs? My employer has felt it necessary to disable VLC across all corporate devices. I'm usually fairly well-informed on newly-discovered vulns but I haven't heard anything that made me think it was *that* severe. Is there active exploitation going on?

Now that macOS 27 has been released I’ve finally relented and installed macOS 26. I didn’t want it but I feel weird being more than one major version behind.
