The stupidity is starting to show effect.
It's hard to overstate how big this Iran war is for several global supply chains. Yeah, it might not affect one isolated chain too much, like refined oil. But if you combine all chains, the strain becomes apparent. This can have severe downstream effects.
Unfortunately this, as usual, means that the ones with money (aka highly developed nations) will be fine-ish, while the others will get shafted.
I still don't quite see why we (as in: the rest of the world) should ever let Americans do whatever on the global stage again without massive resistance.

@kami_kadse @Moppe @kattascha der Punkt ist: die Realität ist nie schwarz/weiß. Beschäftige dich mal mit Berichten von Menschen, die aus dem Norden fliehen (ich mach das schon seit meiner Schulzeit und habe tatsächlich vor drei Wochen mit einer Frau gesprochen, die genau das getan hat).
Ja, es gibt dort drakonische/unmenschliche Strafen für sog. "Verbrechen". Und die Lage im Land ist furchtbar. Der Punkt ist aber dass die meisten Menschen (und auch das ist ne qualifizierte Aussage, für mich bedeutet das 60%+x) dort glauben, dass Kim Gott ist und es allen anderen schlechter geht. Wenn du von klein auf dasselbe narrativ hörst, wird es irgendwann zu deiner Realität, außer du bekommst gegenteilige Informationen - das passiert leider oft nur in den Grenzregionen. Die Leute dort werden professionell gegaslighted. Dann denkst du gar nicht drüber nach, diese "Verbrechen" zu hinterfragen. Dann muss man dich nicht zwingen, zu klatschen. Man übertreibt, klar, aber das ist ein sozialer Verstärker. Das ist bei denen "normal". Seit über 60 Jahren.
Aber: wir sollten nicht den Fehler begehen und dasselbe den Deutschen in den 30ern und 40ern zuschreiben. Anderer Zeitrahmen, andere Umstände. Viele (die meisten) hätten wissen können. Viele (aber weniger) hätten handeln können. Keiner hat es getan. Keiner wollte wissen. Das ist der Unterschied.

@stoeps klar, wenn man kein gutes Ergebnis aus der Arbeit hat, ist das nicht hilfreich. Aber das ist ein pädagogisches Problem imho. Wir haben damals Pacman mit Java programmiert in der Schule. Aber das ist nu auch schon gute 16 Jahre her.

Die Studis lernen C und Java bei uns, aber komischerweise können die alle Python bei der Abschlussarbeit. Dabei haben die das nie gelernt. Seltsam.
Aber ich stimme dir zu:
Du lernst kein Rust ohjemine, deine Zukunft ist im Eimer.
also Mal ganz ernsthaft: es geht doch dabei nicht um die Sprache. Es geht darum, die Umgebung zu lernen. Wenn du lernst, was kontrollstrukturen sind, was variablen sind, wie du Funktionen und Rekursion machst usw - also die Grundzüge von Programmierung als Task....dann ist es egal welche Sprache das ist. Du kannst das dann relativ leicht auf anderes übertragen. Verstehe nicht, warum immer so auf sprachen rumgeritten wird, wenn die Hälfte der Welt iwie auf Perl, Ruby Fortran oder cobol läuft.
